Evaluation
Evaluations are typically 1 hour and consist of a detailed history, an interview with the client and/or family member, informal observations, a formal assessment, a detailed report, and a final meeting to discuss results and treatment options.
*An additional session may be required to complete the evaluation

Treatment
An individualized treatment plan includes 50- minute therapy sessions with frequency and duration to be determined by the individuals needs.
Areas of Treatment
If you dont quite fit into one category, no need to worry, very few people do. During our free 15- minute consultation or following the evaluation, we can discuss different areas of possible treatment.

Someone with a motor speech disorder may have difficulty with motor planning or muscle tone. This includes dysarthria and apraxia.

Cognitive therapy focuses on many areas such as orientation, memory, initiation, planning, organization, information processing, problem solving, reasoning and more. This type of treatment is appropriate for someone who has had a brain injury.

Articulation therapy focuses on improving the pronunciation of sounds in words so your message is understood.

This treatment is appropriate if there is difficulty reading others body language, having conversations, understanding sarcasm or different expressions.
